In the UK, ICC has a team of three UK global learning experts, including a teacher, working closely with the teams in Kenya and India. The team can support your work in three ways:
Young People's Voices on climate change - making sure that young people have a say in climate change debates
- making connections with young people's work through ICC in Kenya and India.
Workshops and events - stimulating critical thinking about Climate Change and our sustainable future
- developing action plans within your school or group
- helping you turn your plans into actions
- celebrating good practice in a national summer conference.
'Change-maker' programme - helping young people take on leadership roles as young 'Change-Makers'
- connecting your school with relevant people, or 'Change-Makers', already busy doing something about climate change
- drawing on local businesses, families and community groups such as Community Champions and Transition Initiatives.
