In the Pune region of India, International Climate Challenge (ICC) is running a pliot and feasibility study and has five colleges signed up to the project.

  • DAV College, Aundh
  • Kaveri College of Arts Science and Commerce, Erandvana
  • Garvare College of Arts Science and Commerce, Karve Road
  • Fergusson College of Arts Science and Commerce, Deccan
  • FLAME, Foundation for Liberal and Management Education, near Sus Village Pune

Initial two or three day meetings have been held with heads and lead teachers of the colleges to explain how the project works, discuss expectations and develop a plan for implementing projects locally.

These will be followed with student workshops to clarify the project criteria and provide support and guidance.

In spring 2009, projects will be evaluated and ICC hope to include more groups later in 2009.
