The International Climate Challenge offers you:

  •  An exciting and stimulating way of engaging with an issue of both local and global importance
  • A focus on building creative solutions to the challenges of climate change
  • Contact with peers from other countries and other cultures which will bring different perspectives.

 You can also use the project as an opportunity to strengthen your links with your local community and local businesses.

what we are looking for...

We are looking for projects that work in three linked areas, encouraging young people to:

  •  Find out and think critically about the local impact of climate change
  • Devise and act on solutions to combat climate change
  • Share information and learning with other younr people locally and globally

how to get started ...

The new ICC resource, Climate Change – who should we listen to? has a fantastic poster on one side, and on the other, a fun and challenging workshop for young people to explore perspectives on Climate Change.

We would like you to use the workshop to explore the issues with your friends, or a group of other young people that would be interested to try it. If you click on the image below you can see more examples of voices and images from young Students from Kenya and the UK:

 

If you would like advice or a visit to help deliver the workshop, the ICC teams are available in Kenya, India and UK.

At the end of the activities, ask those involved to each write or draw their own views on Climate Change. Download the form below, copying it as many times as you need, then send them back to the address provided at the end of the resource (UK) or your country office (India, Kenya).
