Dr. R.K. Pachauri, Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has given his sincere backing to the devoted work carried out by ICC in a recent letter to Subha Kumar, head of CDE and ICC’s Indian projects. Dr. Pachauri extolled the virtues of ICC and the projects established to educate the younger generations, bringing about a call to action to sustain the climate now and in the future. "I am glad to learn about the various climate change projects and workshops your organization has been undertaking in various schools and colleges." Said Dr. Pauchauri. |

Gloucestershire Model Climate Change COP |

72 students from 6 participating Gloucestershire secondary schools met at Gloucester Council Chambers to take on the roles of delegates from 14 UN countries, which will be present in the actual UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP) 17 in Durban, South Africa later this year. The conference was held on the 21 March 2011 to coincide with the first day of Climate Week, a national occasion that offers an annual renewal of our ambition and confidence to combat climate change.
